Strathblane Primary School pupils got a chance to see the thermal imaging camera in action during their assembly on 24th Sept 2009. There was a lot of hand-waving in front of the camera and Erin did a great illustration of how well a fleece keeps heat from escaping (why did the camera think she was colder when she had the fleece on??)
You can see the report that appeared in the Stirling Observer if you click here.
There will also be a competion for which class gets the most people to sign-up for the project (by phone or email) before New Year. Not just your mums and dads - your friends and neighbours will count too - they just have to remember to say which class prompted them, when they register.
The winning class will be announced at the beginning of the next term. The prize will be a brilliant day trip for the class!
